Christie MacLachlan, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Christie is a recent graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and she is excited to bring her passion for helping people feel their very best to the Norfolk team.
Her compassionate, client-focused consultation and treatments are tailored to each client’s needs, and she strives to ensure that her clients feel listened to and treated with care.
Christie uses a variety of general Swedish massage techniques as well as deep tissue, stretching, trigger point therapy, dynamic release and myofascial techniques to help her clients relax and improve flexibility, reduce pain and promote overall wellness.
Her background in personal training helps her assist clients in working towards their own wellness goals by teaching effective home care, including preventative and therapeutic exercises.
With over 300 hours of assessment and treatment experience in a clinic setting and 80 hours of outreach in various settings including hospital, hospice, sports and community events, Christie has worked with a diverse range of people and conditions. She looks forward to expanding her massage skills and experience, and plans to take courses in a variety of modalities to help her clients feel even better.
Outside of work, Christie enjoys reading, travel, walks with her dog, relaxing near water, and scuba diving.
