My name is Shawna Perritt. I grew up in C.B.S. Newfoundland, and moved to Guelph to pursue Microbiology at the University of Guelph. Growing up in a small town and never getting off the island, I always knew I wanted to leave Newfoundland for post-secondary to experience more diversity and new experiences. Both of my parents have dedicated their lives to healthcare and I hope to follow in their footsteps and be able to make a difference in peoples' lives as well.
