COVID-19 Clinic Update - WE ARE OPEN!
To all our valued patients and friends,
We are excited to announce the re-opening of our clinic as of June 1, 2020, as permitted by the Ministry of Health on May 27th. This has been approved with the support of each of the governing regulatory bodies of the Regulated Health Professionals at the clinic. We have reopened schedules for treatment, with new policies and procedures in place to help keep everyone healthy and safe. We have been working diligently to ensure that the clinic is set up to comply with every new standard of health and safety.
In an effort to keep our patients, practitioners, staff and community safe, we are implementing the following protocols for all in person visits to the clinic. Please click the links to review the following documents:
Clinic Hours: To comply with “Physical Distancing Guidelines”, we have reduced the number of staff and patients that can be in the clinic at any given time. As a result, we have increased our clinic hours of operation Monday to Friday, and will have an increased number of practitioners offering Saturday appointments.
Personal Protective Equipment: In order to ensure the health and safety of all patients, our staff and practitioners will be wearing masks. For the protection of our staff and practitioners, we recommend and appreciate that patients bring and wear their own masks, unless there is a medical reason that prevents you from doing so. There will be masks available at the clinic for patients to purchase for those patients that do not have their own.
Active Patient Screening: All patients must complete an Active screening propr to entering the clinic.
- Chiropractic patients, please click on the Screening link above to access the screening document. Simply review the screening document to ensure you do not have any of the most-known symptoms of COVID-19 before you arrive for your visit .
- Massage, Naturopathic, Bowen, Osteopathic and Acupuncture patients will be emailed a COVID19 screening questionnaire 24 hours prior to each booked appointment. This screening needs to be completed and submitted BEFORE you arrive at the clinic for your visit.
Clinic Disinfection Protocols: New clinic disinfection protocols that comply with the public health guidelines have been adopted and will be strictly adhered to on a patient to patient and day to day basis. The common areas of the clinic have been re-arranged and spaced out to allow proper distancing, and the entire clinic, including all treatment and high touch surfaces, are being disinfected multiple times per day.
Lastly, if you don't feel ready to come into the clinic for in-person appointments just yet, we understand completely and will be here for you when you are comfortable to return to care. In the meantime, please reach out if our staff or practitioners can offer “self-care” recommendations or help in any other way.
We are aware that all of these changes may look different and take time to get used to, but we are doing all of this to ensure that we can continue to provide the most exceptional care to our patients during this difficult time.
