Dr. Kirstie Griffiths, B.Sc., D.C.
Dr. Griffiths graduated summa cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2018. She is proud to begin her journey as a chiropractor with Norfolk Chiropractic Wellness Centre.
Dr. Griffiths completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science, at the University of Guelph in 2013. During her fourth year, she had the opportunity to conduct research with chiropractor and professor Dr. John Srbely, investigating pain mechanisms in patients with chronic pain. She was inspired by this research that led her to pursuing a career in chiropractic. As a health care practitioner, Dr. Griffiths values an integrative model of care that is evidence based, and emphasizes the mind-body connection. As a chiropractor, Dr. Griffiths offers hands on, multimodal treatment to ease aches and pains, offers customized advice on diet, nutrition and exercise, and provides a space to discuss everyday stressors and strategies to overcome obstacles to wellness.
In 2016, Dr. Griffiths traveled to Nicaragua to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher-training program. Dr. Griffiths currently offers yoga classes publicly at Movati Athletic and the University of Guelph. Dr. Griffiths also offers small group clinical Yoga Therapy Programs combining education, movement, and meditation specific to conditions such as Low Back Pain.
