Shabina Lafleur-Gangji, R.TCMP, R.Ac.
Registered Acupuncturist
and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Shabina has always been interested in herbal medicine. As a child, her family would always turn to traditional remedies when someone was sick. This led her to formally study Western herbal medicine in 2009. In 2014, she went back to India, where her family is from, to study Ayurvedic medicine and eventually went on to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In 2020, she earned her advanced diploma in TCM and acupuncture from Humber College.
She uses acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, diet therapy, and manual therapies such as shiatsu and tui na. Together, these modalities can help address a wide range of health concerns.
In her spare time, Shabina loves to grow and teach about herbs. She tends to a half-acre garden just outside of Guelph.
